history
After WWII, Rosario Cordina and his son Joseph, were privileged to be among Australian exporters asked to supply chickens to England. In the 1950’s when England had recovered from their food shortages, the local market became Cordina’s focus and from that day the successful family business has been under continual expansion. Cordina Farms still occupies the same site in Girraween NSW today and now exports worldwide.
The business has continued to expand, grow and push the limits in the poultry industry. With new sites opening up and evolving partnerships, they have become trusted leaders in the poultry industry.
Cordina has always been grounded in family-orientated leadership. With Joe Cordina passing his legacy onto his granddaughter, Louise Cordina, she leads the company with the same traditions and larger scope to take on the future.

Our team conducts regular inspections and audits tailored to our sites to minimise hazards and risks, so our staff can feel confident that they are being cared for in every way possible.
